New Moon Sacred Cacao Ceremony & Sound Bath

What Is a New Moon Sacred Cacao Ceremony?  Ceremony is about connecting to the highest self and the Divine. Ceremony is a chance to remember the sacredness in all things, and this increases feelings of gratitude. Everyday is a ceremony. Ceremony with community is a circle of energy that creates intimacy, encourages presence and offers an opportunity to hold oneself with focus and open-hearted awareness with others. Intentions and dreams can be super amplified in ceremony. When we state our intention, we direct focused energy. Our intentions feed those around us, uplifting the entire group, and from this building energy, intentions grow in power.   

Cacao ceremonies are centuries-old rituals, seen as the ultimate heart-opener. Knowing how Cacao works with the body brings us closer to the medicine. The cacao medicine has stimulating effects, where the heart pumps faster, and the blood moves quicker. This is because it is vasodilator, aka it widens the blood vessels. It brings feelings of euphoria and openness by increasing the production anandamine, the bliss molecule, dopamine (motivated, accomplished, and productive), serotonin (happier, calmer, and more focused), and phenylethylamine, the love molecule, of which cacao has the highest concentration of than any other food! It is truly a powerful feel-good, heart-opening medicine that carries the spirit of love.

 In astrology, new moons symbolize beginnings, renewal, and the initiation of new cycles. As the moon aligns with the sun, its illumination diminishes, marking a time for introspection and setting intentions for growth. Spiritually, the new moon invites us to delve inward, connect with our inner selves, and align with our deepest desires. This March 10th, 5am Pisces New Moon is dreamy and romantic! Beautiful energy flows from this New Moon, allowing us to create, deepen our spiritual practice, and work in etheric realms. There is supportive energy around this New Moon for creative work and our ability to manifest will be high. Use this New Moon to set intentions and visualize what you wish to call in.  

On March 9th 6 -8pm, 

• We will meet in Sacred Circle - bring a special item for our center circle. You can include items from nature, crystals, fabrics, cards, candles, and any objects that hold meaning to you.
•  We will talk about the astrological significance of this new moon in Pisces, which encourages you to tap into your creativity, trust your intuition, and explore your dreams and fantasies. 
• We will drink 100% heirloom Arriba Nacional Ceremonial Grade Cacao from the river valley in Manabi, Ecuador together. 
• We will all share a prayer-filled intention. Use your voice to speak your intentions into existence or you can choose to share yours prayer-filled silently.
• We will also pull tree medicine cards for insight and connection while we drink cacao.
• We will experience and work with cacao plant medicine through a sound bath
• We will share and connect with others.
